2027 REGISTRATION AT BPA: EVERYTHING FAMILIES NEED TO KNOW

2027 is coming, and we're getting ready for another huge year of dancing at BPA Dance Studio.

Registration is an important part of preparing for the new dance year, so we've put everything BPA families need to know in one place.

Whether you're continuing with us, choosing your dancer's classes for next year or joining BPA for the first time, here's how 2027 registration works.

WHEN DOES 2027 REGISTRATION OPEN?

BPA's 2027 registration opens in September.

Current families will have the opportunity to select their dancer's 2027 classes and secure their place ahead of the new dance year.

Our registration deadline is 5 October 2026.

Completing the process by the deadline helps us plan class numbers, teachers and our 2027 timetable before the new year begins.

HOW DO I SELECT MY CHILD'S 2027 CLASSES?

Registration can be completed through your BPA Parent Portal.

If you're using your phone:

You'll be able to select the classes appropriate for your dancer and complete the registration process directly through the portal.

If you're unsure which classes your child should select, please ask us.

Our team can help with class recommendations based on their age, current level and dance experience.

WHAT IS THE ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE?

BPA has an annual registration fee for each dancer.

The registration fee contributes towards the administration and costs involved in establishing your dancer's enrolment for the year, including items such as relevant insurance and registration administration.

DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO STAY IN THE SAME CLASSES?

Not necessarily.

A new dance year is a great opportunity to look at your dancer's age, level and interests and decide what their week might look like next year.

Some dancers will progress into the next age group or level.

Others might keep their favourite class and decide they'd like to add ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acro or another available style.

If your child has spent the year talking about another class they'd love to try, registration is a great time to explore their options.

WHAT IF I'M NOT SURE WHICH CLASS TO CHOOSE?

Please don't guess.

Dance levels and age groups can sometimes be confusing from the outside, particularly when your child is transitioning between programs.

The BPA team can recommend the most appropriate classes for your dancer.

We consider things like their age, previous training, current classes and progression when helping families make their selections.

WHAT ABOUT PRESCHOOL DANCERS

Our younger dancers have programs designed specifically around their age and stage of development.

As children grow, their class options change too.

For some families, 2027 will be their child's very first year of dance.

For others, it will be the exciting year they move from their preschool program into our school-aged dance pathway.

We'll help families understand where their dancer belongs so the transition into 2027 is as straightforward as possible.

WHY ARE WE REGISTERING FOR 2027 ALREADY?

It might feel early, but planning ahead helps us build a better year for our dancers.

Knowing which dancers are returning and which classes families are interested in helps BPA plan class sizes, teaching requirements and the overall timetable.

It also gives families the opportunity to organise their child's activities well before the back-to-school rush begins in January.

BPA Dance Studio is located in Berrinba, Logan, with classes available for toddlers and preschoolers through to school-aged dancers, teenagers and adults.
